About Us
Ministry Tracking Software, established in 1993, specializes in the development of software for ministries. It's flagship product, Youth Track, was developed in 1993 and was the first youth ministry software program of it's kind anywhere. Youth Track was originally developed by a youth minister, Eddie Mathews and a youth deacon, James Moore, to provide Eddie with an organizational tool for keeping up with the large number of young people in his new youth ministry. Both had a passion for working with young people and wanted to make sure nobody fell through the cracks.

Since that time, Eddie Mathews, Susan Mathews, James Moore, and Julie Moore have worked together to provide thousands of youth workers with a software program to help them organize their ministry. In May of 2003, Eddie and Susan's ministries had grown so large that it was time to exit the company and let James and Julie take over the business. James and Julie both work full-time jobs and work with Youth Track when they can evenings and weekends to continue the ongoing development of Youth Track and to the development of other software tools for other ministries. Their passion is to provide ministries with computer software to use as a tool to help organize their ministries in such a way that more time can be spent actually working in their ministry purpose.

Ministry Tracking Software's mission is to provide affordable, easy to use software solutions specifically for ministries to help them organize their ministries in such a way that more time can be spent actually working in their ministry purpose. Ministry Tracking Software is committed to the ongoing development of Youth Track, adding new features and enhancements, as well as providing training and support.
James Moore

James co-founded Ministry Tracking Software in 1993. He has been developing database applications since 1983 and   has developed several desktop database applications over the years. These applications include parts and equipment inventory, service analysis, service territory management, call center and scheduler systems. He has also developed several database utilities, which he has shared with the developer community. James has attended several software and database development schools and has recently achieved his Microsoft Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified Database Administrator for SQL Server 2000 and Microsoft Certified Application Developer certifications.  He is currently working with SQL Server 2008 for an oil and gas company in Oklahoma City.

James has a passion for working with young people. He and his wife Julie have worked with troubled youth to provide discipline and structure to their lives as house parents. Both of their children are grown, but while they were younger, James and Julie were very active in the youth group. James has taught junior high, high school and parent classes. James and Julie saw a need to prepare sixth grade students for entering the youth group so they teamed up and taught a class designed to help prepare them for adolescent life.

James saw a need to develop a database specifically for tracking the youth at his church when their new youth minister arrived. When Eddie Mathews saw the database application, he knew that others who work with youth could benefit from the application as well. That was when Ministry Tracking Software was born.

Since that time, James has had a passion for developing software tools for youth ministry because he realizes just how easy it is for young people to fall through the cracks.  James believes he is using his God-given talents to help children, youth, and college ministry leaders everywhere by providing a database tool to better organize their ministries.  He realizes that children, youth and college ministries are so very critical in a crazy, mixed up world. James hopes the software that he develops can have a part in these ministries.

Julie Moore
Julie has been supporting executives for over 25 years for large corporations such as Frito-Lay and Bank of America.  She decided she wanted to use her God-given organizational talents for ministries. She worked for the A&M Church of Christ in College Station, Texas as an administrative assistant to the minister, youth minister, and college campus minister. She has also done outstanding work with providing PowerPoint presentations for these ministries as visual aides. Since that time, she has worked as the administrative assistant to Camp of the Hills, a non-profit camp for inner-city children outside Marble Falls, Texas. During the summer months, she works very closely with camp staff and provides support in many ways to make sure the camp runs efficiently. She produces a video production of the entire summer, which is shown and distributed to each of the counselors and staff for summer-time memories. She even uses Youth Track to produce a pictorial directory of each summer session.

Julie has a passion for working with children. She and her husband James have worked with troubled youth to provide discipline and structure to their lives as house parents.
